Executive Manager (WI). Peggy just
double promoted
to her new level at the beginning of
July!
Here’s
Peggy’s story:
“I
first found out L’BRI at a Vendor
Fair. That’s pretty typical of how
many women come across our company.
But I wasn’t interested in skincare
products, I
was looking for customers! I was
exhibiting a home décor line at the
Fair and introduced myself to Jody
Lyons, who had a L’BRI booth. Jody
gave me some samples. I started
learning about the importance of
natural ingredients and reading
product labels.
“I
liked L’BRI products and became a
hostess for Jody. She asked me to
consider joining L’BRI as a
Consultant. But I really wasn’t
ready. I’d been with my home décor
company for over 10 years and was
doing well- I thought! My sales
were good, but I kept putting more
and more of my money back into that
business, buying more and more
samples to sell. I was just
spinning my wheels financially.
“Jody kept after me. I saw how well
she was doing, earning promotions to
higher levels, a car and trips. She
had made more progress in a few
years than I had made in 12! That
convinced me: I needed a new
career! I joined in late 2011, but
really didn’t get going until
January 2012.
“I
knew how to sell, but skincare
seemed a little scary. Fortunately
L’BRI has great training and
support. The product information in
L’BRI University and the ‘back-room’
is phenomenal! I was able to feel
comfortable understanding different
skin types and what products to
recommend for skin issues.
“L’BRI has some great things that
you won’t find in many businesses.
The response I get from my customers
is so gratifying. They’re so happy
and excited when a skincare problem
is solved! Also, my repeat orders
(I call it my ‘residual income’) are
wonderful. Customers love L’BRI and
keep ordering, month after month.
“I’ve always been self-motivated. I
know that working consistently will
make me successful. Every day, I
work. I make at least 5 phone calls
for sales, bookings or sponsoring.
Whenever I leave my house, I’m
sample ready. Anyone I meet could
be my next customer. I ask: “Would
you like to sample my skincare
line”? Then I get their information
for follow-up. I’m also patient.
Some people will jump on the
products right away. Others take
more time. That requires me to keep
contacting them. Sometimes the ones
who take the longest to get, are the
best!
“I
set a goal each month to have at
least $5,000 in personal sales, 8 to
10 Shows and add at least 2 people
to my team of Consultants.
“I
tell new Consultants, when you start
out, your primary goal is: Get
Customers. If women
try
L’BRI product samples
and you follow-up,
you’ll get customers. Put it on
their skin… it’s that simple! Get
as many customers as you can in your
first 30-45 days. Orders, bookings
and Shows will follow.
“I’m a bit surprised I qualified for
Executive Manager so quickly. In
April, we had a great sales month.
That just sort of “happened”. But
then promoting to Exec looked like a
real possibility. So I decided to
go for it. I asked my team to help
me and they sure did! So now, after
18 months with L’BRI, I’m an
Executive Manager. My career dreams
are coming true”!
