Each month we share ideas that have
helped Consultants, Supervisors,
Managers and Executive Managers
make money!
This month the focus
is on Shows- Big
Shows! Some of L’BRI top leaders in
holding Big
Shows
share ideas on getting high dollar
sales.
Laurie
Atwater (Executive Manager, MN)
“My suggestions are: 1). Think BIG!
Ask the hostess to invite at least
40-50 people to her Show. 2). Use a
variety of ways to reach potential
Show guests: phone, email, ‘snail
mail’, social media and
face-to-face. 3). Make reminder
phone calls. This is the best
guarantee for good attendance. As
an added service, you might offer to
help your hostess make these calls.
4). Offer extra incentives for
guests to bring a friend to the
Show. Make it a big deal. 5).
Offer your hostess extra incentives
for having at least four outside
orders before
the Show. 6). Always feature the
Sets as the best value for a
customer’s money. Give a little
‘thank-you’ note to everyone who
purchases a Set. 7) Really work
hard at hostess coaching. If
you aren’t doing three Hostess
coaching calls, don’t expect to have
a big dollar Show”.
Emily Howe (Executive Manager, WI)
“For me, it’s my willingness to help
collect outside orders for the
hostess. For guests who are
invited, but can’t attend, I ask for
their contact information. I then
contact the ladies and set-up a
one-to-one appointment with each.
These appointments definitely will
increase the Show total”.
Gina
LaGalbo (Diamond Executive Manager,
WI)
“These are some things we train on
to build the hostess’s attendance:
1). Ask her to invite people from 5
different groups in her life. Use
the FRANK concept: Friends,
Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors
and people you know through your
Kids. 2). Ask each guest to bring a
specific person, for example,
her Mom, sister or best friend to
the Show. Being specific
works! 3). Coach your hostess to
create a big ‘wish list’ of L’BRI
products she’d like to have. That
will motivate her to build
attendance. Have your hostess shoot
for a $400 Shopping Spree with a
$900 Show. 4). At the close of your
presentation, talk to the guests
about the Sets: ‘Purchasing Sets is
a great way to get started on
skincare. You will help your
hostess with her sales and this will
get you going on our wonderful line
of products’”.
Beth
Thierfelder (Supervisor, WI)
“Here are some things that I do: 1).
I ask my hostess to make a ‘wish
list’. Together, we total all the
items on it. This lets her know how
big a Show, in dollars, that she’ll
need to have. Then we break it down
by how many people she needs to
attend her Show to earn that
amount. 2). I always tell my
hostess to make a phone call and
then send out an email flyer as a
follow-up. I encourage the hostess
to say how excited she is about
L’BRI products and how they have
changed her skin. I also have her
say ‘The party won’t be the same
without you. Can I reserve you a
seat?’ Hostesses who are really
excited about L’BRI have the best
Shows. 3). I offer a gift for each
person who brings a guest. I
encourage the hostess to mention
this when inviting her guests. 4).
I ask the hostess, at the beginning
of the Show, to tell everyone what
her favorite L’BRI product is and
what she loves best about L’BRI.
Saying those things gives us of a
lot credibility. 5). I tell my
hostesses that if a guest can’t come
to the Show, then I can come to
her. I offer to do a facial at her
home. The hostess of course will
receive credit for those sales in
her Shopping Spree”.
April
Yohanek (Manager, WI)
“I have a couple tips that have
helped me. I always offer an added
incentive for guests to bring
someone along to the Show. It may
be a chance to earn a nice free
gift, or maybe a product like the
Facial Peel. I talk up the Sets.
Naturally, I’d rather sell a more
expensive Set, than a less expensive
one. I focus the guests’ attention
on the Peel, which is in Basic
Skincare Set 2. I use the Peel on
each of the guests. After they see
the results, I mention that the Peel
is such a great bargain when
purchased with Set 2. Many guests
respond by placing orders for Set
2”.
