In December, I was actually wondering if I was going to have to start all over in my business come January. I had no shows in either month and my momentum seemed to have dwindled. But right about the time these thoughts were passing thru my mind, a customer of mine, who has a strong desire for health and wellness decided to join my team. About a week later, a friend and co-worker of mine came up to me and said, “I’m going to sign up!” I had to ask her what she was talking about. She said she wanted to sign up with L’BRI. I was amazed!!! Then, three people contacted me for shows (because of our awesome hostess specials) and reorders were coming in like wildfire (due to monthly sales). Seeds I had planted months ago, were now starting to grow!
I started to look at the possibility of Supervisor status and realized at the recent Leadership Insight Conference, I could make it happen. With the fantastic group of women on my team and the support of my L'BRI sisters, this goal was realized by the end of January. I was SO excited! This was a far cry from the feelings I had just 4 weeks earlier. Who would have thought things could turn around so quickly! I should have known better. This has been a reoccurring theme for me in my time with L’BRI. I have learned to see what I CAN do, not what I CAN’T. To focus on the potential, not the pitfalls. When I do this, everything heads in a positive direction.
My experience with L’BRI has taught me many lessons: It has opened my eyes to the possibilities that lie before me, given me confidence to stretch outside my comfort zone and has even taught me to dream! I have a great mentor in Jody Lyons. She has fantastic resources developed for our team use. And I have wonderful teammates, like Peggy, Charlotte, Jackie, and Angie Slinger, who teach me new things every time I am with them. And then the women new to my team, who keep me excited about what L’BRI has to offer everyone! All of these women motivate me and remind me each and every day what a wonderful gift we have to share.
I did not start with L’BRI to have a business. My life was busy enough with a husband, 8 children, a part time job, and an active church life. But L’BRI is MORE than a business. It’s a way of life. It’s about taking care of people, those you know and love and those you have yet to meet. L’BRI is truly a Beautiful Way to Live!

I accidentally stumbled on L'BRI while doing a search for natural skin care products for myself. At the time, I wanted something that would turn my skin around, little did I know that I would find something that would turn my life around also!
There are two phrases which I have found very true in my life, and they are, "where attention goes, energy flows," and also, "what you focus on expands."
When I signed on as a Consultant with L'BRI, it was quite intimidating for me, in as far as I had absolutely no one nearby to help me get started. No one had told me about L'BRI, I had just found it by "accident," so it was with a lot of trial and error that I began my business. However, I found that as I focused on my business, it really did start to expand, and I started to reap the results.
I would like to thank Kathy Roen for her patience for my countless questions when I first started, and always having such a great attitude when I'd call to ask about things. Also, for the AMAZING women that are part of my team who dared to sign up and become women entrepreneurs along with me. Without them, there is no way that I could have become a Supervisor. I have to just mention, Ann Pohl, Christin Nabor and Tammy Smith in particular who have been so faithful to meet with me, and be such an encouragement. You ladies rock!
I want to finish by just encouraging YOU, who are reading this. You CAN be successful with your business, the key is to just not quit! Keep focusing on what you want, and before you know it, you'll be in the newsletter too! Do you believe it?
Here's to your success!

When my journey with L'BRI began I was a customer, like many woman out there. My L'BRI Consultant who is now my sponsor must have offered me the L'BRI Opportunity over a half a dozen times. She saw something in me that I wasn't yet ready to accept. Coming from a long history of depression and serious anxiety, the thought of becoming a consultant, speaking in front of groups of individuals I didn't know, and going into stranger's homes to do so, literally terrified me. In spite of all my anxiety, my love for the products and my amazement of the company had me intrigued. As a stubborn, determined woman, I have never allowed my fears to run my life and I wasn't about to allow it to do so now. My decision to become a L'BRI Consultant was not for financial reasons or because I wanted to "fire my boss", it was very much for my own personal growth. I needed to prove to myself that I could, in fact, be successful at the one thing my mind most feared! I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared or anxious in the beginning but in spite of it all, I overcame.
The goals I began to set regarding my L'BRI business gradually transformed as I continued to surprise, even myself, with my personal growth and success. Because becoming a leader was not one of my original goals, I became anxious again when accepting my first promotion as Senior Consultant. I feared that, now, if I failed it would affect more than just me. Once again, I needed to overcome my mind as my worst enemy and embrace the fear as a personal challenge. I continue to challenge myself with what is to come and for now I am loving my new position as a leader. I currently have an amazing team of incredible women who challenge and encourage me more than they realize. My new goals now include expanding my team, being an exceptional leader and to get to that next step of....Manager!
