GOD IS SO GOOD! I started my
L'BRI business when I was 22 or 23 years old. My
husband and I got back from our Honeymoon, found out
I was pregnant, enjoyed 6 months of pregnancy until
I had to have an emergency c-section. Our little
Micah was born 3 months early, weighing 1 pound, 11
oz. He was in the NICU for 3 months and it was
around this time that we decided I had to find
something I could do from home. I was skeptical, but
I knew money could be made in Direct Sales. It was a
fun "hobby" at first, but after the first couple of
years, it slowly grew into more and it grew more
into my heart. I had my ups and downs and struggled
with the idea of even getting another job. A big
THANK-YOU to my friend and trainer, Gina LaGalbo,
who is so consistent with encouraging me and
reminding me why I became a L'BRI Consultant in the
first place.
It was 6 months ago in January
that we were on a family date in Brookfield and
happened to drive by the hotel that the Leadership
Insight training was being held. I saw all the
white Nissans in the parking lot and thought, "I
want to be there next year for the Thursday night
training". Something sparked inside. The next
morning I was eager to learn more, do better at my
job and be a better Consultant. I clearly remember
Linda saying, "Flexible hours does not mean Optional
hours" and it was then I decided to be more serious
about integrity in my business. Between Leadership
training and coaching, I was planning the
work and working the plan, but not only that - I was
truly believing that this business was a blessing
for our family and God started introducing me to new
team members. Team J.O.Y. has a variety of
incredible women who I am so happy to be working
with. I am thankful for each and every one of the
amazing ladies I have met and get to talk to each
week. Their goals are beginning to form and
excitement is building to see Team J.O.Y. as the
next Executive Management team! Ladies, let's say
"Adios" to my clunky, shaking and sputtering car
because we will be carpooling to Convention next
year in style - the Nissan Murano!!!
My goals are not just material,
but also supportive goals - we have lots of friends
who are missionaries around the world who need
financial support to stay on the field, we're
praying about adopting a little boy from Latvia
(that we were able to host for the month of July -
because I work from home!), and so many charities
and organizations that are close to our hearts that
need physical and financial help. If it wasn't for
the additional income and flexibility L'BRI
provides, we wouldn't be able to do a lot of the
goals on our Dream Board. Thank-you to Linda & Brian
for allowing us to share these superb products and
the Opportunity with other families. We are on the
edge of something big and I'm so proud to be a part
of this when it does!
